I BOUGHT THIS SYSTEM FROM PELICAN PARTS FOR MY 1998 BMW 528i, BUT DIDNT NEED IT. THIS IS A PLUG AND PLAY SYSTEM DESIGNED FOR BMWS THAT DID NOT COME WITH A FACTORY ALARM SYSTEM. IT BASICALLY PLUGS INTO THE PORT LOCATED BEHIND THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT OR UNDER THE SEAT. IT WILL FIT SEVERAL DIFFERENT BMW MODELS AND SERIES. GO TO WWW.PELICANPARTS.COM AND YOU CAN LOOK AT THE SYSTEM. THEY SAY IT FITS ALL BMW MODELS 1992-2001.(EXCLUDING E-46 3-SERIES) THE ALARM IS THE STELLAR BMW STX. GO TO THE WEBSITE, ENTER YOUR CARS INFO AND SEARCH FOR STELLAR ALARMS. I PAID $262.00 PLUS TAX AND SHIPPING (OVER $300). MY CAR ALREADY HAD AN ALARM SYSTEM THAT JUST NEEDED NEW REMOTES. THIS SYSTEM IS BRAND NEW AND IS SET UP "NO RESERVE" BELOW IS SOME INFO I GOT FROM THE WEBSITE. THIS ALARM DOES NOT HAVE THE LCD REMOTE PAGER.
