The XMD1000 is one part of a two part system that allows XM Satellite Radio service to be seamlessly installed into satellite radio ready car stereo head units.
The XMDirect XMD1000 Universal Tuner Box is the XM tuner needed to work with all XMDirect products. XMDirect Universal Tuner Box allows users to receive digital XM Satellite Radio directly through a satellite radio ready car stereo head unit. To complete the installation of an XMDirect system the Universal Tuner box XMD1000 must be installed with an optional XMDirect Smart Digital Adapter for various models.
